Contents
The traditional Chinese art taijiquan helps to promote efficiency and harmony of body and mind. It brings about calmness, relieves stress and aims at maintaining of optimal health.
Sylabus:
- Excercises to relieve physical and mental strain
- Meditative excersices
- Self-defence excercises
During the course it is necessary to pay attention to SAFETY and DISCIPLINE and strictly FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS given by the instructor.
Learning outcomes
- Exercises are focused on the mitigation of the unfavorable physical influences of stress on the body and mind.
- Meditation exercises cultivate focusing and an overall calming are aimed at maintaining obtimal health (in the sense of mitigating stress and maintaining balance).
- Ability to use Tai-chi as a form of self-defense is a test of this art.

No prior knowledge requirements are needed to enroll in this course.
