Contents

The traditional Chinese art taijiquan helps to promote efficiency and harmony of body and mind. It brings about calmness, relieves stress and aims at maintaining of optimal health.

Sylabus:

  1. Excercises to relieve physical and mental strain
  2. Meditative excersices
  3. Self-defence excercises

During the course it is necessary to pay attention to SAFETY and DISCIPLINE and strictly FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS given by the instructor.

Learning outcomes

  1. Exercises are focused on the mitigation of the unfavorable physical influences of stress on the body and mind.
  2. Meditation exercises cultivate focusing and an overall calming are aimed at maintaining obtimal health (in the sense of mitigating stress and maintaining balance).
  3. Ability to use Tai-chi as a form of self-defense is a test of this art.

No prior knowledge requirements are needed to enroll in this course.
