Learning outcomes of the course unit
Screenwriting students should be able to write a coherent screenplay for a short film and demonstrate that they understand the basic principles of storytelling. They will be able to apply this knowledge to write and develop a feature film in the future.
In their final project, they should demonstrate that:
- They are able to structure and create a film scene.
- They are able to write fluid and engaging dialog while keeping visual storytelling in mind.
- They are able to create interesting characters that have some development in the story.

Practical exercise.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the fall term projects, significant progress in the skills.
Course contents
Students will write an original screenplay for a live action film (10-40 pages).

Presentation of the screenplay during the spring term APP projections.
