Contents
Practical drawing lessons and individual consultations on the artistic style of animation exercises. Completion of some drawing assignments will be given in the form of home exercises.
Establishing and keeping a drawing diary throughout your studies at KAT. Figurative study drawing based on the model and anatomy. Movement studies of the figure according to the model and in different environments (ballet, dance, etc.). Consultation on artistic conception,stylization and visual aspect of animation exercises.
Learning outcomes
The learning outcomes of a given educational component :
Students will learn about anatomy, improve their drawing skills especially in figure drawing and figure drawing in motion for use in cartoon animation through the figure drawing course. Based on individual consultations with the teacher over the production of their own animation, they will practically formulate their own opinion on the degree and use of artistic stylization in relation to animation technique.
Prerequisites and other requirements
A mastery of the fundamentals of drawing, solid practical experience in figure drawing and experience of working with artistic stylization. (Both criteria of the required level should be assessed by the admissions process.)
