On Monday, November 20, 2023, Studio FAMU will host a screening of A Gentle Creature and the Trial with an introduction and discussion with the director. On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, the program at Studio FAM will continue with 2 masterclasses and a screening of Babij Jar. Context.

Schedule:

09:30 opening of the hall.

10:00 -13:00 introduction, film screening An Gentle Creature, 2017, 143 min. The film will be in the original version with Czech subtitles only. The film is not English friendly. After the film, a discussion with the director will take place in English.

14:30 - 17:00 introduction, film screening The Trial, 2018, 129 min, Russian, English subtitles. After the film a debate with the director will take place in English.

Filmscreening Babij Jar. Context. with a debate after the film and two masterclasses moderated by a FAMU student and teacher. The director will explain his own creative process to the students. It will be held in English.

The condition for receiving credit is 100% attendance on 20 November 2023 and 21 November 2023. In the case of screenings, 100% attendance applies only to films shown with English subtitles.
